SOLID (Support for Lebanese in Detention) is an association of families of Lebanese disappeared who, as early as 1989, launched a campaign to collect information in order to document cases of enforced disappearances. Through its activities, such as the writing of reports or press conferences, and the support of many international NGOs, the association demands from the Lebanese and Syrian authorities that the truth be told about the enforced disappearances of which thousands of people were victims.
