The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Missing Persons from Kosovo and Metohija is working on approximately 1900 cases of enforced disappearances that occurred during the conflict in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s. Created during this decade, the association supports the families and, through its contacts with international organizations and the authorities, tries to clarify the fate of the missing so that the families' wait will end.
